A concert-performance based on the diaries of Anne Frank, featuring leading theatre actress Viktoria Isakova and rock musicians (Auction, DDT, Aquarium).
Anne Frank was a Jewish girl who, together with her family, hid in the Netherlands from Nazi terror. She was eventually captured and deported to Auschwitz, and from there to Bergen-Belsen, where she died of typhus just days before the end of the war.
On June 12, 2019, Anne would have turned 90, but fate decreed otherwise—her life was cut short at the age of sixteen. This is a story of rapid coming of age, an attempt to comprehend the nature of hatred in a world that has lost its balance through the eyes of a teenager—through the challenges of growing up, first love, and misunderstanding by loved ones; to rewind the pages of the diary like a strip of film—from the ending back to the beginning—and, in defiance of doom and fate, to see a simple girl with her dreams of the future, her fears, and her hopes.
