7 DAYS IN THE CONTEMP ART SCENE
Theatre of Nations, Moscow, Russia
Playwright: Egor Zaitsev
Director: Egor Matveev
Set Design: Denis Sazonov
Composer: Alexey Skovorinsky
Video Design: Mikhail Zaikanov
The characters of the performance are figures who define the modus operandi of the Russian contemporary art world: a gallery director, an investor, a curator, and other strikingly different personalities who, for various reasons, devote a significant part of their lives to art.
Conceived by the playwright, the story brings them together around a shared ambition: to endure seven days of disputes, rises and falls, to launch a groundbreaking exhibition, align it with every current trend, and ultimately win a prestigious award.
